Curtis, I think you perhaps have an unrealistic expectation of the cost of a sail, even from a cheap far east/offshore manufacturer. The sails are almost all using US made cloth, and with the USD being fairly strong, that's a big chunk of extra cost there. Maybe a decent used sail might be an option for you? Cheers, Paul.
