During my recent "race" in the Lake Ontario 300 (actually the shorter scotch bonnet race) my hydraulic boom bang broke off at the base of the mast. The rivets appear to have sheared off. I have the local boat repair company taking a look, but t I am curious if anyone has suggestions?
