I'll ditto the comments about the alloy corrosion in Whale Gushers. I've replaced the one on Touche' twice in 19 years. Both times the sealing surface for the flapper style check valves were corroded.
The last time I disassembled the new pump prior to installation, coated all the alloy surfaces with TefGel, reassembled and then installed it. Dennis C.
