I JUST posted a video about this, except I use a Raspberry Pi for my Ship's data, and OpenCPN on my tablet. I've read that you CAN get navionics to read the wifi signal, but you need to find out what specific NMEA strings Navionics needs. I don't think it uses the standard ones for proprietary reasons (or something like that)
