Just to make it clear, I assume you mean c and o to be channel-modes? (Obviously o can't be used but then again you have though of that haven't you ;-)). Also when writing this I came to think of a user mode like you example on c, think bout it... :-) Mode c will get some criticism for stress to the server but I think all in all there is nothing wrong with a independent patch for it out there imo. Oper-only is something I have missed from ircu so that would be great to have! </feedback> =)
