Follow-up from re-review (commit 3bdc6d3): I found the analogous ambiguous-write case on renewal. If a 5xx renewal landed, the retry can receive 412; renewal now rereads storage and adopts the lock only when it is unexpired, still owned by this provider, and has a later lease. Otherwise it retains the lost-lock behavior. Added a regression test for the landed-renewal/412 case. Local verification: hudi-client-common lock-provider and metrics tests 74/74; S3, GCS, and Azure lock-client tests 71/71. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
