Thanks for the re-review @DanielLeens, and @davidzollo for pushing the async/timer cancellation fix. On CooperativeTaskWorker — I'd rather defer that one than widen this PR again. It's the same generation-scoping pattern as BlockingWorker but on the thread-share path, and it only bites under a non-default configuration.
