Hi @zhengxiang378928908-code, are you already working on the length-metadata fix here? I'd like to pick it up if it is still available. I'd keep this separate from the NVARCHAR2 type-recognition work in #11843/#10945. The scope would be Dameng catalog lengths for NVARCHAR/NVARCHAR2, including the reported `CHAR_LENGTH = 0` case. I'd check real metadata and column capacity under both `LENGTH_IN_CHAR` modes before choosing a fallback, and keep CHAR/VARCHAR/NCHAR behavior unchanged. An unconditional `DATA_LENGTH / 2` would not be enough. If you are already preparing a patch, I'll leave this with you.
