So, going along these lines, a Compact has 89% of the pixels of a 12" LC monitor (342 versus 384, horizontal of 512 remaining the same), which leads me to a needed frequency on the SE/30 of 0,89 times the frequency of the 12" LC monitor, which is 10,93 MHz. But you say that in the end the SE/30 probably handles the surplus of 42 lines just fine. OK! I'm going to study that analog board. So, Yes, Philip, please mail me that schematic of the SE analog board. In the end, I want to keep the SE/30 'as is'. I've got a Classic with an irrepairable, heavily corroded logic board that I want to be the actual victim.
