A nice fan? That is what they call a contradictio in terminis.

It is its silence that always draws me back to the Plus. I know you 
pay a price for this silence, I know that somewhere in its life the 
Plus power supply will die, but it is something that can be fixed 
with a soldering iron.
BTW the SE/30 also has a fatal flaw. The capacitators on the mobo are 
bound to cause problems in time. This is also something that can be 
fixed.

None of my plusses has a power supply problem as of yet and there are 
no early signs pointing towards one either. Of course I only turn on 
my Plus (the one I use) when I actually want to work on it. This way 
I try to prevent wearing it out.

For some reason I encountered more 'dead' SE/30's (weird things on 
the monitor etc.) than dead plusses, but I suspect that is pure 
coincidence. BTW In my experience the toughest compact out there is 
the SE. That plain and simple Mac that some people don't seem to care 
much about.
