I also still can't get Eudora to work; everytime, it
gives me the "None of the dns servers can be found"
error.

Any ideas?

Make sure your ICS is running properly. Do you have a readme for setting up a static connection to it as OSX may require something not covered by my use of windows or linux ICS. In both cases you point the client machine at the host boxes ip address as a gateway and for dns, OSX may not have a dns server running so a second entry pointing to your isp's dns server should cover that. This shouldn't affect your filesharing in anyway.

Does the mactpc settings look right? What ip address have you given the SE?

Can you ping from the ibook to the SE?

Try setting the "obtain address" setting in the More window to manually as this will allow you to change the machines ip address in the main Mactcp window. I've just tried this without a problem.

Any changes to mactpc require a reboot.

A little more info about what you have done would help. Dont worry about filesharing, it should return once you have Mactcp configured.
