Ah, of course that's a great idea, same thing just the flip-side. Using 7.x
to load the machine then use a much faster 6 to work on it. Perfect! That's
actually the simplest way for you and shouldn't be a big headache even for a
quick dump of a document or two: it's really just a restart before you shut
down for the day. Time enough to get a cup of coffee. Sometimes it's the
forest for the trees ...

Saturday Night Live -- I forget you may not have it across the pond, or at
least not the golden years when the wonderful Gilda Radner debuted to us.
Really a brilliant comedian -- her character always got the point wrong,
then ended with those words when corrected.
