Oh, one more thing ... all the Compacts from the SE forward have
bleeder-resistor type flyback transformers so that all the the truly harmful
voltages are discharged automatically on power-down. Of course, it never
hurts to take every precaution. I just wear rubber soled shoes and work on
tables that sit on rubber feet. :-)
