1.5 TB drives are starting to really make a push and I have seen prices dropping on 1 TB drives.
Yeah, but you have to figure that the more moving parts you've got would tend to compromise reliability unless the technology were really improved.
My feeling is that we're not going to see a real improvement in storage technology until we get rid of the motors, platters, and read/write heads.
