As someone who's spent a lot of time in linux-kernel-usb land, let me just tell you how HORRIBLE it is when vendors reuse vid/pid/bcd combos... they come out with a new piece of hardware with a bug, and you can't fix that bug without also breaking some other device because the kernel has no way of telling the difference. > So, you have an 1100 and not a 1000?
