Yes, it looks like 2.6.39 was released in May, which was before the change
was made to remove the generic device rule.

But in one of your previous notes, you stated that the 1100 shows up as
with a USB PID of C11F, which is the same as what my 900 shows up with. 
The product string "Harmony 900" comes from some database of USB IDs, I
think.  So they are actually using the same PID for both.

Well, I guess it can be both good and bad.  Hopefully the hardware in
these remotes that does the Ethernet over USB is exactly the same, so we
won't run into bugs with any specific versions.
