Great, that's exactly what I want. I don't like Mandrake's menu layout.
Also, why have 2 menus?? There's a Gnome menu and the Mandrake menu. Why
not put everything together? Only makes things confusing for the novice
user (my sister and mother, for example)

Anyway, my iMac isn't running Mandrake PPC anymore. I had a disk crash,
and ended up reinstalling Mac OS 8.6 on it. I'll switch to using my new
PC for a while (a custom-built Duron 750 MHZ machine, which is more than
I need. With Mandrake, of course!), until I can afford buying an iBook
2.

PS: Does anyone have an ideia if the new iPod will work with Mandrake
PPC? My guess is that it should be accessible like any other external
FireWire disk, using the correct kernel modules (does Mandrake PPC
support FireWire?). If anyone experiences with this once the iPod hits
the market, please let the other list members know. The iPod would make
a great companion for an iBook 2. :)
