I will try and find out more about the MiniCD project, and if there is
any potential for working with them, will start discussion with them and
the cookers who show interest.

Hmm, you're suggesting installing into a loopback mounted iso? It might
be easier with a working user-mode-linux ....

I was looking more at snapshotting an existing system ...
