The problem is Frédéric, is that when use the shut down option in GNOME when I have GDM as the login manager, it won't shut the system down, whereas when I used GNOME with KDM, it would. What it does now is it only drops me back at GDM, then I have to select the shutdown from the system options. - -- Gary L.
