[Cooker] ISO on hd

I am on my way to an upgrade so I have a question:

Is it feasable to mount a hd partition, as a large ISO 9660 image? This
could thus be used as cdrom, for me that don't have a cd-burner. I may
then easily test any ISO image.

If it is possible, where can I find out how?
