I believe if you go into your KDE Control Center you can do this...
ummm... I think it's under the File Manager settings. Sorry, I'm
doing this from memory... I recently wrote an article on KDE 2.0 and I
mentioned that you can change this. However, I use GNOME so can't
readily check to see if that's correct. But you can change it.
