Sure, if you feel that it will do any good...

The fact remains:

I installed mandrake on a virin system, as a straightforward installation. I
selected 'custom' and 'all'. I ended up with an installation that is missing
joe (and ncftp as well).

Upon pointing that out (with some irritation, I might add) the response from
this list is condescension and arrogance, instead of realizing that there is
a problem somewhere in the installation (which would not be a first for
Mandrake).

Granted, the recent snafu of refusing to identify properly the various
versions of Mandrake 7.2 which are floating around is already bad enough
(but I understand that this is a unique marketing problem), but having the
various versions (obviously) perform different installations makes the
problem more of an issue.

If this is a marketing issue, then by all means, let me talk to one of your
marketroids. Still, I doubt very much that your marketing drone can do much
to fix this installation issue - that might be more in your domain.
