That would have been rather hard, seeing as these changes only appeared 
on RC1!

How are translations being done. If they are based on the original 
string text
then this is a real problem. All internationalisable strings should have 
some sort
of prefix/identifier

eg. {100345789}: Thank you for choosing Linux Mandrake.

That way the German/French/Italian etc.... would be choosen for the 
identifier
{100345789}, and not for the text "Thank you for choosing Linux Mandrake."
