Hi Abby,

I cook my ground beef first, breaking it up with a wooden spoon or wooden
spatula as I go, and then let it cool after draining in a colander, and then
break it up with my fingers when it's coolenough to touch.

One way to break up the meat is to take it off of the burner and let it cool
enough for you to break it up with your hands. this can be accomplished
halfway through the cooking cycle, but it is better to wait until the meat
is cooked. Mike

Sounds good. I hadn't done that before. But I'd imagine you'd have to let it cool... But no in the pan i'd put my fingers in the pan...
