Yes, they are a lot smoother, but that's what pushes the whole engine
forward 
1/2 inch, so you probably need a different mount.

I saw a Cessna 120 with an O200 and they'd spliced a thin strip along the 
rear edge of the cowl.  I was told that the STC allowed this.  They'd 
actually done a pretty good job, too, but it's pretty hoaky if you ask me.
