I wonder if such a scheme would be safe.  I have heard that STC'd items 
don't have to go through a test all the way to TBO. Seems like I read 
that they only have to do a couple hundred hours in the test.  One would 
think that if you get more power out of the same parts then it won't be 
as reliable or durable. Glen
