I recently purchased a Taylorcraft. When I called to put it on the policy, I was really holding my breath because I anticipated that it would be much higher than our Ercoupe. Well, it turned out that despite my very low tailwheel time, and the fact that the Tcraft is insured for 40% more, the insurance is about $300 lower per year for the Taylorcraft. This is on the same policy that the Ercoupe was on. I am not sure what that tells us.
