Lynn, since the stromberg doesnt have an idle cutoff, its harder to adjust the idle mixture. But, you can adjust the idle mixture like you adjust the needle valve on an R/C airplane engine. It takes 3 people: one person inside to start the plane and establish an idle rpm. Then, the other person opens the cowl and holds it (dangerously close to the prop, yes I know but we A&Ps do crazy stuff like tha all the time). The other person slowly turns the idle screw in until the engine rpm starts to stumble and drop off. You then back off the screw until it runs smoothly, then another 1/4 turn out. That's about the best you can do without an idle cutoff circuit like the Marvels have Jan Z Fresno ==^================================================================ EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiLm.aVzvvT Or send an email To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
