Greg, in our free sociey, we also have the right to disagree AND STILL STAY UNITED (and friends, I hope). I disagree with those who think this shutdown of GA is over reacting. It appears the terrorists have tried to get out in various manners. Taking a GA airplane, wheather it be a Piper or a G-5, shuts down one option until we can feel secure again, and I support it. Our governement does not need to put up with another aggrivation at this time. As for the member who dropped out of AOPA, that is his choice. I personally feel that we need a combined voice in Washington with a LOT of clout! A lot of clout in Washington is defined as VOTES! If you go there alone they will not even alow you to drink water out of the drinking fountain. Sure, there are times I do not agree entirely with AOPA decisions, but I will not drop out because we NEED EACH OTHER to survive. The same goes with this site. I do not agree will everthing on this site, but I will not leave for the same reason. Yesterday I played golf with with a retired military general at DAFB. He said that these terrorists are fragmented and have KNOWN SITES in 35 NATIONS throughout the world. He gave us a LOT of insite on just how complex this situation is. It appears what we need is a well organized covert operation to take them out as we find their nests. These people are willing to die in a heartbeat when they are in the position to take out innocent people in the process. However, they tend to be cowards when they are holed up and are about to be gunned down. I for one, will support our government during these trying times. The future of our county's freedom is at stake. The sooner we allow them to go to work and get the job done, the sooner we will get our freedom back.
