And I suppose that you would be directed to land at the nearest airport if
this piece of equipment should fail in flight. If they end up doing this,
you can bet that this equipment would have to be operating at all times in
order to fly. This sounds pretty ominous to me.
BTW, the gov't already has these devices that they use to track planes
they're interested in. Evidently they install them without anyone knowing
about it, and remove them the same way. At least that is what I was told
by a SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) agent.
