Come on guys an Ercoupe wing stalls. It just recovers fast. That was
cover
last week or two ago with info on the wing design. Hold back pressure it
will
drop, recover, drop, recover, drop, recover until you 1) add power or 2)
ease
off on the back pressure.
As too full trim takeoffs, Most Coupe I've flown would mush off with
that
much trim. Think Greg right about than Larry trim may need looking at and
adjusting.
I too rotate at about 60/65. That depends on wind and gusts. In gusty
winds Thank you I let it build to 75.
On landing well that depends on traffic. No traffic I'll do what I
learn
years ago. Turn base on the 45* to approach end, power back to 1200 / 1500

again wind plays in here. As the pattern Alt. 200' makes a difference.
The
numbers 90 down wind, 80 base, 75 long finial, 70 over the fence @ about
20
feet. But I am not a good enough pilot to do it the same every time.
Now with traffic do as is being done. My biggest PO is pilots flying 5

miles out base in their big flaps. With a turn to finial at 500 feet and
three miles to go. 210 drivers are the wrong people to be behind in an
Ercoupe. I'm to slow to cut in front and I truly wish they would have a
valve
drop into the Cylinder. No, I do not want any body hurt, just want to see
then kicking up dust. What a "B" I can be.
We are getting a control tower :( because all of the training flight
that
come in. Why, because of no Tower. So there will be less we will not need
a
Tower. Go figure that one. Then because of the Air Tanker they will add
1000'
to the runway. Then because of less traffic the jets will becoming. Talk
of
long finials. I'm drilled again.
