Autogas eliminates the need for TCP (Ducking under table now)

I have never needed to drop the exhaust.  An assortment of bent coat
hangers 
and finger grabby thingies (from Snapon <G>) facilitate maneuvering them
back 
in place.  Also, pull the valve stem out through the upper plug hole and 
clean any deposits off first.

This technique is called "the rope trick" and has been written up in
numerous 
maintenance journals and type specific news letters.
