Hi Folks,

Every time the discussion comes around to flying with the canopy open or
closed, I have a question. I tried to find some reference to it in
the archives, but couldn't. I'm probably using the wrong words to
search on.

Anyway, I have been wondering about the temperature under that clear
canopy. To me, it seems like a perfect little greenhouse. Doesn't your
head get awfully hot? I notice that just about everbody wears a hat
when they're flying. I'm sure that keeps your brain from getting fried,
but again, isn't the temperature high? Since I haven't seen any
discussion about it, perhaps it's not a problem. And I suppose I am
missing something obvious. But my curiousity has finally gotten the
better of me, so please explain.

Thanks a lot.
