Yes, it will work. The old flight helmet was intended for just that use, in cockpits with much smaller windshields than we have. Don't buy the Dave Clark! It's really expensive. Get the Aircraft Spruce catalog, and look up 'helmets'. They have three helmets that fit your DC, I think: a Canvas one, and two leathers, one of them fleece-lined. I can vouch for the fleece-lined leather one... ...it is VERY warm. And both my DC (fits well) and my Denali (fits okay) will work with it. To me, this is an issue which really hasn't had as much attention as it should. Losing your glasses at a critcal moment could be a real disaster. I've started wearing my Croakie while flying. After all, it's in the kind of critical times when we forget and lean too far to gawk. Greg
