Help! N99387 is my first coupe, and I am really delighted with it. However, one thing that makes me uneasy is the adverse yaw at slow, below 80 mph, speeds. We fly out of a fairly narrow grass strip with trees and wires on both sides. If you over control our Coupe just a little, you end up with 10 to 15 degrees of yaw in the wrong direction. It doesn't seem to make any difference whether you have power on or off, (we have on O-200) the Coupe will yaw the wrong way when you over control. I don't like pointing at the
trees when I am only a few feet away, and learned quickly how to avoid it. I have asked other Coupe owners about this and they say their Coupes do not do it. I replaced several rod ends during the rebuild and completely rerigged the Coupe by the book when we put it back together. The free play in the airlerons and rudders is about 1/2 that allowed and I have double checked that the controls all move in the right direction. I also removed the landing lights and disconnected the nose gear cable to see if it made any difference, but no joy? What say yee list? Is this normal or not, and where do I look to fix it? Thanks in advance. Lynn Nelsen N99387
