Psssst..

You didn't hear this from me, I have a friend that had a engine with
around
850 hours on it, and every annual
he had some problem with at least one jug, most of the time it was a valve
sticking... A&E tried Mystery Oil, and I recall even removing a valve
cover
and tapping lightly on the rocker.....

I should note, since some think it matters, he runs a lot of auto fuel,
and
80/87... very little 100....

So he decided next oil change he would add one of the Name Brand Teflon
products. I remember him doing it
It was winter so he warmed up the engine, drained the oil, warmed up the
new
oil and "Product"... ran the engine for 10 hours, then changed back to
straight oil....

He reported,

Static run up was up over 200 rpm, in fact he did have to lower idle too.
Next compression check compression was up... and has stayed up
Engine ran cooler
and he has not had ANY engine problems since, this was done over 8 years
ago.
(he does add the product once a year)
He still uses the same Aero Shell oil and changes it at 30 hours, and at
annual.

Oil is a lot cheaper than a overhaul...
