I guess I'll put in my 2 cents worth.  A device called an "Oilamatic Pre
Oiler" is out on the market now.  You can find it on the Web at
www.oilamatic.com.  A friend had my mechanic put one in his airplane.  It
pressurizes the oil system before you start the engine, using a small
electric oil pump.  As someone said, most engine wear occurs during start
up, so this device would greatly reduce or eliminate that wear.  This
would be a 337 process to get it approved for a Coupe.  I plan to have one
installed ne
t annual.  I understand they cost about $1000.  (I run Aeroshell.)
