Thanks Dave: I believe you are right in the comparison, I use Amsoil because of "first exposure", and have had enviable results as have you with Mobil 1.  I don't know where I stand with our present aircraft with 1680 SMOH, no top.  Have to think about it further.  ;My inclination is to try to convince my partners to "go for it".  The aircraft is new to us, has a history of excellent maintenance, has great compression, and is strong. On the  other hand, the O-320 has a history of strength,  and regularly outdistancing TBO. But stuck valves can be a problem.  Got some more thinking to do.
