No, we're not going to stop talking about 150's...not until I
get the last word in...heh!

Hi Doug. Yeah, an Ercoupe that's been modified with more
horsepower might climb better than a 150, because climb depends
mostly on excess horsepower.

I wasn't upset, Doug. It's just that I have heard "comments"
about Ercoupes from other pilots for years, but now I'm
hearing the same thing from Ercoupe owners about 150's.

The point of my post was that there is nothing wrong with
a 150, not that it's better than an Ercoupe. Even if a
150 out performs our M-10, there are still things about
the M-10 that I like. After all, a 150 also out performs a
J3, but there are still things that make the Cub a lot
more fun. Performance isn't everything.

I don't think the 150 is underpowered. If it is, then the
M-10 is WAY underpowered.

There are lots of good things about 150's. I don't like
putting down other people's airplanes. Anything that some
poor slob can afford to buy and maintain in a safe, airworthy
condition is a good airplane as far as I'm concerned.

OK, we can stop talking about 150's now :-)
