Jolly, We can talk about this more when we do my engine work, but I disagree with you wholeheartedly about the canopy. I fly with mine open all of the time. Sometimes 1/2 open, sometimes all the way. It was designed to fly that way and it flies just fine. I do not understand why people have this trepidation about flying with the canopy open. That is one of its selling points. Keith 5663F
