Esteemed 'Coupers --

Thanks for all the input regarding Alons.  It looks like I'm going to go 
have a look at the A2 I mentioned in my prior posting.  I have a few more 
questions for your consideration:

1) She hasn't been flown & six months.  Compressions were run on a cold 
engine and were #1 70/80, #2 70/80, #3 66/80, #4 65/80.  The A&P said
there 
was a little initial roughness which smoothed out in flight, so he's 
attibuting it to disuse.  Does this look about what you folks would expect

for a C90?

2) Can an A2 be flown with the canopy open?

3) Any tips on how to get her home?  She's in Indiana and I'm in 
Connecticut.  I just got my ticket in April & am a little nervous about 
making the trip myself in a new plane.
