Leslie: Just want to reinforce what Audean and Tom told you about having your local mechanic check out the plane before you buy. Steve and Jack bought N93443 with their hearts instead of their brains about a year ago. Most on this list know the story but for your sake I will repeat it. Bought the plane with only our amateur inspection. On our first annual our mechanic found a spar problem which was going to cost us $5,000 among other problems. With a lot of help from this list we came up with a solution. As it was, our first annual cost about $2800. We also determined that the 158 hr since major turned out to be since top only which means that within a few hundred more
hours we will probably be rebuilding an engine. I don't want to discourage you on buying the plane. Go for it. Just leave your heart at home. jack russell Fresno-Chandler CA
