For me it is about even.
 
As an Ercoupe owner, I think AOPA is more geared toward owners than EAA. It has more services for owners.
 
As a Van's RV-6 builder, I get more out of EAA. Although as a builder, I have concerns that EAA won't be long until they drop the E from EAA. Just look at the new logo, every diminishing articles in Experimenter and most of all OSH (oops, I mean the more commercially acceptable Air Venture).

I would like to take an informal poll of which organization you feel does the most for you as a pilot and an aircraft owner, and why, the EAA or AOPA. I was recently in a discussion with a couple of other pilots over the weekend and it was interesting at the different views and their reasoning. One was a big dollar owner and pilot the other flew something more modestly priced.
