I just replaced my donuts. I took 2 pieces of 1/2 alum. plate 3-1/2 inches
by 6 inches and drilled a 1-3/4 inch hole in the center of each. I used 2
PCs. of 3/8 inch threaded rod 12 inches long.You don't have to compress
the
unit very far. Just enough to get the snap ring out. This worked well for
me.
