To all of you experienced Coupers out there, Does anyone have a tried and true, non-knuckle busting methodology for removing old, and installing new rubber donuts for proper tail height? I've ordered and received the 7/16 in. spacers from Skyport. I think I can get by with just installing those, as my tail is sitting at 68 inches. I'm told that the spacers will give me a 10 inch rise. If not, I'm prepared to bite the bullet and get the donuts. A friend of mine said that he had seen procedures on the Internet for installing the donuts......something other than the diagram and 337 that I was faxed. Or maybe one of you out there has their own tips and tricks of the trade that would help an incompetent like myself! I would sure appreciate hearing any and all advice that's available.
