I was planning on flying to Oshkosh this year. Sounds like I need to bring a roll of barbed wire and a fire extinguisher with me.
I attended twice in the '80s and had a great time. What
happened to the extra-cost flightline pass? Even though it
cost $50 (?) EAA bragged about continued record attendance
each year. I recall the whole show being both incredibly
clean and seeing hardly any smoking anywhere. Has the event
gone downhill in the past 15 years?
