Hi all
I've been going nuts today. I've recently decided to move my server back to
FreebSD after a 4 yr flirtation with Linux. I use courier as my MTA, with
dspam. I installed the ports on FreeBSD, and tweaked the configuration to
match my Linux server settings, but I simply cannot get mail to be
delivered, and I see nothing useful in the logs.
IMAP is working fine; I can read the mail I copied over in the various
/home/user/Maildir folders just fine. Mail is being accepted via SMTP too,
but as I say, it just sits in the queue and never gets delivered. I've taken
dspam out of the picture for now, and have tried using just "./Maildir" and
"| /usr/local/bin/maildrop" as my local delivery settings. Maildrop is suid
root, group courier. All the courier processes are running as group courier.
I can manually run "maildrop -d <user>" and enter some test mail and it gets
delivered to the Maildir fine, so I know that maildrop is working.
Here are my logs when running "courier flush":

Any suggestions welcome; I really don't get what is happening here.
