Thanks; here's some more info: - software versions are FreeBSD 6.2, courier 0.53.2, courier authlib 0.58.2 (i.e. the ports versions that were part of the 6.2 release, not current)
- adding -V99 to maildrop shows nothing more in the logs; I don't believe maildrop is ever being run (although as you suggested I've switched back to plain "./Maildir" - I have reverted to a vanilla courierd file; no diff from courierd.dist - at this point the only diff in my esmtpd file is that the service is enabled - I'm using pam for auth, with the default config files; e.g. esmtp has: auth required pam_unix.so try_first_pass account required pam_unix.so session required pam_permit.so - User gram exists, home directory /home/gram, with a properly configured Maildir (I used maildirmake) - just ran courier flush again; here are the logs: Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: started,id=02D2B4BF.466C04ED.000091FD,from=<>,m odule=local,host=gram!!1001!0!/home/gram!!,addr=<gram> Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: completed,id=02D2B4C1.466BCCAB.00008C14 Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: started,id=02D2B4CA.466BE62B.00008EAA,from=<>,m odule=local,host=gram!!1001!0!/home/gram!!,addr=<gram> Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: completed,id=02D2B4B3.466B9CEC.000081AF Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: completed,id=02D2B46E.466B9B44.000080A9 Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: Waiting. shutdown time=none, wakeup time=Sun J un 10 08:17:33 2007, queuedelivering=12, inprogress=3 Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: completed,id=02D2B4BA.466B9E6C.0000828A Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: completed,id=02D2B4BF.466C04ED.000091FD Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: completed,id=02D2B4CA.466BE62B.00008EAA Jun 10 08:12:33 server courierd: Waiting. shutdown time=Sun Jun 10 09:09:05 200 7, wakeup time=Sun Jun 10 08:17:33 2007, queuedelivering=12, inprogress=0 -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Milan Obuch Sent: Sunday, June 10, 2007 1:03 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [courier-users] Mail just queueing up and not being delivered On Sunday 10 June 2007, Graham Wheeler wrote: > Hi all > > I've been going nuts today. What about mailq output? Some hints could be shown there as well. Regards, Milan -- This address is used only for mailing list response.
