Perhaps it was an issue to some but for any competitive player the hitreg problem is among the issues which needs to be solved first. I didn't mention the hitreg problem as it's the only problem there but it's more important to solve something like this then add a default screen and making changes and updates to the spectator UI.

The blank black screen on connect was one of the most complained about issues. As for the console, every source game ever spews pages of console spam on start.
