These numbers that i posted were actual numbers from one of my servers.

Tick128, 24 slots:

5 second average:
in 1,80Mbit/s
out 9,08Mbit/s

1 minute average:
in: 1,82Mbit/s
out: 7,34Mbit/s

So basically what you said about 40KB/s per player was about accurate.

I ‘d like to see practical bandwidth usage data from guys here, no theoretical ones. And what if I set that convar to a lower value than the default. How much will it affect the viewer’s experience?

tv_maxrate <bytes>
Sets the maximum bandwidth spend per client in bytes/second (default 5000)
Just do the necessary calculations.

Yes, dedicated international bandwidth in Hong Kong is MUCH more
    expensive than in China.
I’d also like to ask how much viewers a GOTV server with 10Mbps
    up/download bandwidth can host.
As for the East Asian CS:GO Tournament, which will be announced
really soon, we are waiting for the final decisions of
    potentialsponsors.

    Hi,
I am a server owner in Hong Kong and I beileve dedicated bandwidth
is not any cheaper than your region.
Currently 1MB of international badwidth (basically everywhere
outside of Hong Kong) costs us around 300 USD per MB per month.
However our community needs at least 50 MB, making dedicated
bandwidth unafforadable. We have to use the datacenter's shared
bandwidth. And I think that it is impossible to reduce bandwidth
usage without reducing tickrate. 128 tick means double the CPU
utilization and bandwidth than 64 tick.
Btw, I have an unrelated question: When will espc announce the
next tournament? I currently have two teams competiting in espc.
    Inchk1ng and H5 Gaming
